This is the last year using the Units of Study - Light. Next year we will be moving to a new curriculum. Creative Curriculum for both 3k and Prek classrooms.

Easel Tips:
When painting, I always try to incorporate math & literacy. This wk, children have pumpkins as a painting inspiration. The picture is always labeled, first letter underlined in red and the others in black. Scholars were tasked to count the pumpkins in the picture and paint the same number of pumpkins they see. Giving scholars an objective in paint helps build their hand eye coordination, make connections and build confidence!!
By the way, our scholar nailed it 🎯
