Legal Disclaimer:

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is still in its infancy and we have much to learn about its inner workings. In the meantime, it is a user-friendly procedure so you can try it yourself. Please note that some people's emotional and /or physical issues are such that they shouldn't try any healing procedure without the presence and guidance of a qualified health professional and/or without consulting with their physician. EFT is a nonconventional approach to healing. EFT is not a substitute for drugs, surgeries, radiation, or other conventional medical interventions, and you are encouraged to have regular medical exams and discuss what treatments are best for you with your doctor or other health professionals. Always use EFT with common sense. I am a member of the following organizations:

Maslow’s hierarchy didn’t stop at self-actualization — he added one more level shortly before he died.

Abraham Maslow’s famous hierarchy of needs has long been a cornerstone of psychology, outlining the stages of human motivation from basic survival to self-actualization.

However, in his later years, Maslow introduced an additional and final stage: self-transcendence.

This ultimate tier goes beyond personal fulfillment, urging individuals to recognize their connection to a larger whole. By shifting focus from personal success to collective well-being, self-transcendence challenges us to prioritize the survival and prosperity of humanity as a whole, rather than merely achieving individual goals.

In today’s world, where global crises demand unified action, Maslow’s final insight feels more relevant than ever. The biggest obstacles we face are not technical but psychological — requiring us to look beyond ourselves.

Practices like mindfulness and flow, which Maslow believed foster self-transcendence, could serve as essential tools for cultivating a sense of shared purpose. If humanity hopes to solve its greatest challenges, embracing this mindset may be the key to long-term survival and global harmony.
