Inwood Early College for Health & Information Technologies is a new career and technical education (CTE) high school focusing on information technology, including hardware and software development, installation, networking, and support, and health information technology, administration, and management. Through project-based learning, students use the skills they learn in computer technol
ogy classes to examine the effects of technology, the role of information technology in the context of healthcare, and the impact of information creation on their lives, their communities, and the world we share. Our Approach
Through a comprehensive project based program, we use technology as our main tool for becoming SMART:
Sparking critical thinking, systematic questioning, and creative problem solving skill development;
Motivating a sense of enthusiasm, curiosity, and passion for learning and achievement;
Achieving collective advancement as users and creators of knowledge, information, and technology;
Refining our vision of our best selves and best work by reflecting on our mistakes and successes; and
Transforming our minds and our lives by supporting one another, serving others, and rising to challenges. Program Highlights
