The Trump administration has elevated the issue of rare earth supply for the US. Recent announcements have highlighted domestic exploration and processing, insurance backstop for foreign mining, and potential investment by the US government in rare earth companies. All are critical, but don’t address the timing issue.
Trident and Zoetic view the access to rare earth like the “Race for Space.” The announcements of new mining opportunities, while promising, are years out. Trident and Zoetic will be in production in 2027. The US government and corporations in tech, defense, e-vehicles and biotech cannot wait 7 to 10 years for new mines.
Trident and Zoetic are well positioned to develop next generation applications utilizing its supply of rare earths in partnership with its Vietnamese, Korean and US partners. This includes developments for quantum computing in conjunction with top technology firms and universities. An announcement and event will be upcoming in Korea to highlight these exciting developments.
Trident and Zoetic are also committed to utilizing the most sustainable technologies for powering mines, remediating waste and processing rare earths.
After decades of lost ground, the administration has quickly taken the steps to ensure access to rare earths.
Rare earth minerals aren't rare, but the U.S. is having a hard time getting them
China is retaliating against U.S. tariffs by restricting exports of rare earth minerals. Minerals expert Gracelin Baskaran explains why these little-known-elements are so vital to defense and tech.

The AI and data center buildout is still intact over the long-term. Zoetic is tackling the data center market with its energy savings refrigerants. Recent refrigerant data center installs have resulted in 24.9%, 21% and 35.6% energy savings. Grids are under tremendous stress from AI driven demand. The refrigerant quickly reduces power draw for cooling. Our refrigerants do not require a change out of hardware.
In addition to the cooling, Zoetic has partnered with a leader in power generation providing baseload, emissions free, on-grid or off-grid power. This is housed in a 40-foot container and includes a water purification unit – treating all types of contaminated water. Thousands of data centers will be built over the next 5 years and this technology provides a critical solution at a competitive cost.

Zoetic is a member of the leading rare earth consortium developing sustainable practices around rare earth mining. Members include UT – Austin, Trident Global and Yonsei University. Rare earth processing involves the use of caustic acids. Most of the world’s rare earth’s are processed this way, leading to significant environmental harm. The consortium is focused on developing and highlighting alternative technologies to eliminate environmental damage.

Availability of rare earth elements has become a front page story. Critical to interactions by the administration with Ukraine, Greenland and others countries is the inclusion of access to rare earths which are critical to chip, electric vehicle, biotech and the defense industry. Zoetic and Trident are advancing our mining projects in Asia to supply rare earths swiftly compared to others with timelines of 5 to 10 years. We will be at full production in 2027. Our power and remediations solutions will ensure that our rare earth mining is sustainable.
