Magnetic Levitation

Magnetic levitation, or maglev, is a technology that uses magnetic forces to lift and propel objects without physical contact. It works on the principle of repulsion or attraction between magnetic fields, which counteracts gravity and eliminates friction. In maglev systems, powerful electromagnets or superconducting magnets generate a controlled magnetic field to suspend an object, such as a train, above a guideway. This allows for extremely smooth, silent, and efficient motion. Because there is no direct contact, wear and tear are minimized, making maglev ideal for high-speed trains, precision instruments, and futuristic transport systems with low maintenance and energy efficiency.
