After 20-years teaching non-fiction writing at The New School, Elizabeth Kendall, associate professor of liberal and Literary Studies at Lang, will retire.
Kendall, 79, accepted the Voluntary Early Retirement Program (VERP) offer because she had already prepared to accompany advanced nonfiction writing course students into capstones in the spring.
“I couldn’t abandon them,” she stated to The New School Free Press.
