VLI is a year-long, cohort based leadership institute designed to give students a chance to develop their own personal leadership skills in a community based group with peer mentorship and interactive sessions. I love learning new things, I ask too many questions and enjoy listening more than talking. Time to say hi to our 2019-2020 Resource Center Assistant, Ann! “Hi everyone! My name is Ann (she/her) and I'm going to be the RCA at Uhall! I'm a junior in the Rory Meyers College of Nursing and I'm originally from New Jersey. You'll most likely find me behind the Resource Center, walking around campus in eggplant-colored scrubs, or somewhere in Uhall watching animal videos on Instagram. I am a proud plant mom, chipotle is my soul food, and I love pineapple on my pizza. Pleased to meet you!”

Say hello to our 2019-2020 12th Floor RA, Justin! "Hello everybody! My name is Justin Min (he/him) and I'm a rising junior in Steinhardt, studying Social Studies Education (7-12). I've grown up in Orange County in Southern California for my entire life! I enjoy singing, dancing, exploring, and EATING! If you're competitive and enjoy games, I invite you to challenge me for the Iron Throne and beat me in Mario Kart or Super Smash Bros! I love Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, and The Office, and I've watched all 23 movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (and screamed my head off at every movie theater I watched them at). If you catch me dancing and twirling around in the streets of New York by my lonesome, come join me!! Whether we share a “hi” or become bffs, I can't wait to meet y'all! See you soon!"

Back for one last semester, say hi to our Fall 2019 13th Floor RA, Maria! “Hi! My name's Maria-Juliana (she/her) and I'm a senior at Tandon studying Integrated Digital Media. I was born in Cali, Colombia and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida so I still get really excited when I see snow. hehe. While I'm not pogosticking, you can find me editing videos, taking pictures, and riding my bike around the city!”

Say hello to our 2019-2020 9th Floor RA, Andy! “Hey! My name is Andy (He/ Him) and I’m a Junior in Tisch Drama. I’m from Southern California (LA/OC) which means I can’t handle about 90% of NYC weather. Fun fact: When I’m not in New York, you can find me running Splash Mountain at Disneyland! I’m very passionate about theatre and film and I’m always trying to see new Broadway shows or movies. I’m also really big on music, and if you ask me about Lady GaGa I’ll be talking for a REAL long time. NYC is my dream city and whenever I have free time I love to go to Washington Square Park or just walk around Manhattan. This year is going to be amazing and I can't wait to meet you all!”

We’re excited for you to meet our Fall 2019 5th Floor RA, Michelle! “What's good UHall?? I'm Michelle (she/her) and I'm from Brooklyn, NY. I'm a senior studying Global Public Health and Food Studies. If you run into me, chances are I'm wearing all black or something minimal and very simple. I am passionate about all things related to food, photography, architecture, and the color blue.”

Back to the 6th floor for one last semester for Fall 2019, welcome back Taylor! “Hi everyone! I'm Taylor(she/her), born and raised in Chicago, IL. I'm a senior in SPS studying Hotel & Tourism Management with a concentration in events. I am a professional binge watcher always looking for a new show to start or I'm rewatching one of my favs so you'll probably find me in my room. If not, I'm definitely somewhere stuffing my face!”

Next up, time to meet our Fall 2019 2nd Floor RA, Veronica! “Nice to meet you! I’m Veronica (she/her). I’m a senior in Gallatin studying the Ethics of Multimedia Storytelling. I'm also minoring in Social and Public Policy. I’m from the Bay Area, so you’ll see me sporting layers a lot, topping it off with my oversized denim jacket. Sometimes I’m late to class because I’ll run into a pug and follow it around. My hobbies include taking photos and getting tattoos. Other than that, you can find me sipping tea wherever, whenever — also because I'm a Gemini lol.”

We’re excited to welcome back another former UHaller - meet 2019-2020 7th Floor Geeks in the City RA, Miranda! "Hey UHallers! It’s your resident Geek, Miranda (they/them)! I’m a junior studying Percussion Performance and Music Education in Steinhardt. While I love the city, I am originally from a tiny farm town in Michigan, so if you need a fellow Midwesterner to talk to (or to complain about the “pop” vs “soda” debate), I’m there for you! My other interests include musical theatre, reading, pineapples, and all things geeky! From ‘Lord of the Rings’ to ‘Star Trek’ and beyond, I’ve got most of the bases covered... except I’ve still never seen ‘Game of Thrones’... Can’t wait to meet you all!”
