Laying the foundation of reading comprehension and story elements! Yesterday PKFA-1 worked on their dramatic story telling skills by acting out a familiar story. Not only is this fun but it teaches characters, sequencing, and plot!

We are incredibly proud of our dedicated educators who shared their expertise and innovative teaching strategies with the entire faculty today during our faculty meeting!
The session focused on writing strategies, entrance and exit tickets to collect real time data for planning , and strategies to improve reading, showcasing the commitment of our faculty to continuous growth and providing the best possible education for our students. It's a wonderful example of our teachers going above and beyond to foster a culture of learning for everyone in our school community.

During the Balls Study PKFA-4 created a Pie Shoppe to provide real-world connections as they explore balls and circles in meaningful ways. Children will investigate different circular pie crusts and berry shapes that resemble balls. They will practice important math skills by counting ingredients and pretend money at the register. While working in our pie shop, students will also build social skills by interacting with “customers,” taking orders, and working together. Additionally, children will learn the steps to baking a pie and explore kitchen safety, supporting hands-on learning through play.

Teaching our students to love writing!

Our first Walking with Saints celebration of learning culminated with grades 3-6 performing skits on the lives of their class Saint. Our school community gathered in the gym that was adorned with Saint poster projects created by the 7th and 8th grade students. I am beyond proud of our students and our school is truly blessed with a dedicated faculty.
Our mission begins, “We embrace the diversity within our Catholic School community.” We wanted to reflect our diversity in our Catholic identity so that students and families would see themselves in our Saints. After a beautiful Mass we gathered as a school community as Fr. Michael blessed our new Saints grotto.
