Topical Antibiotic Selection in an Era of Rising Bacterial Resistance is a series of live continuing medical education activities being held in key US cities in early summer 2012. At each activity ophthalmologists, residents and fellows will have the opportunity to interact with a distinguished faculty composed of leaders from the discipline of ophthalmology and vision science as they undertake an in-depth discussion of treatment options for bacterial eye infections. The discussion will include criteria for antibiotic selection, site of action, and resistance. Each discussion has the potential for one hour of continuing medical education.
