The Soil Judging Team from Brooklyn College at work in Rhode Island. Four undergraduate students participated this year: Steven Herman, Elizabeth Phillips, Giovalli Botello, and Bingying Qiu. They were coached by Dr. Richard Shaw and Ronnie Taylor, both former State Soil Scientists. The team's group score ranked 3rd place among 15 teams from NE US. Congratulations to the students and coaches!

A short hydrology class trip to see the bioswales in Crown Heights of Brooklyn, or rain garden as the City calls it. Fall weather is nice, and the leaves are beautiful.
