As we're approaching the first day of school, we gotta give it up for Khyler, Max, Jasper, and Rhys for making the tallest tower of all time at the design challenge during the New Student Orientation last week! They didn't let something like the ceiling limit them from breaking records 🪜

We're so excited for a new school year with another generation of Makers!! 💥

Starting a series of highlighting the amazing things Maker students have been doing this summer! Starting off, we have rising seniors Valentina and Yury who recently participated in the Journalism For All Summer Showcase on August 27. 📰

Valentina and Yury got the awesome opportunity to intern at Vamos Forward, highlighting local New York news to Spanish-speaking communities. They have been building their professional skills, networking, and publishing original online articles.

We're so proud of you both! 👏 Shout out to Journalism advisors Ruby and Keisha! ✨
