WHAT IS SONGKRAN?
Songkran is the Thai New Year festival, traditionally celebrated from April 13th to April 15th. It is a time of renewal, reflection, and community, marked by rituals such as water blessings, paying respect to elders, and acts of kindness.
Water plays a central role, symbolizing cleansing, renewal, and the washing away of the past year to welcome new beginnings.
