I have this beautiful painting by Blair Borthwick hanging in my office. It is for sale! The best part is that 50% of the proceeds will go to supporting Hidden Water, the non-profit I founded over ten years ago. Hidden Water is an innovative response to child sexual abuse with long waiting lists to participate in this free service. Blair and John - the innovators that they are - have been supporting Hidden Water from the very beginning. They even hosted our first major fundraiser! Starting Feb 10th @11:30am, I will be hosting another codependency circle. This 12-week opportunity is a powerful healing mechanism for creating healthier, stronger bonds with other humans. Intimacy can be disrupted by both anti-dependency on others, as well as over-dependency on others. This evening marks the final meeting for the Restorative Justice Advanced group. This group has been very rich. Back from a great Advanced Circle Keeper Training with the folks from South Texas College. What an amazing group of people - well worth my travel woes getting to them! Sitting with this group teaches me so much about what it takes and what the benefits are of a safe work environment where each person is honored for their contribution.
