Here at Grad Life at the Center for Student Life, we do a monthly series called Current Convos, which is a graduate student lead discussion series. For these events, we invite a graduate student whose research is in line with our monthly theme to lead a presentation, and then participate in a conversation with attendees that will be facilitated by us. For November’s occurrence, we would like our theme to revolve around colonization and debunking myths surrounding its history, in recognition of Thanksgiving. This would be a great opportunity to get your research and work out there. If you have research/experience in the history of colonization of the United States and would like to present for about 20 minutes to a group of 15-20 students, please fill out our form (DM us for the link) by 12 PM EDT on 11/3. Thank you!

Current Convos is an event series in which Grad Life invites a grad student who is a specialist in a subject to present on that subject and have a discussion around it. If you have a topic you would like to present on, please DM us and we will give you more details!

Dear NYU Graduate Student,

We hope this finds you keeping healthy and well. The Graduate Student Needs subcommittee of the NYU Internationalizing Brooklyn & Washington Square (IBWS) Committee is seeking your feedback. The subcommittee plans to make recommendations regarding academic support for graduate-level international students based on the results of this survey. Please complete this anonymous survey by Friday, July 2. On average, it should take less than 10 minutes.
