EVC's culminating event of the year features over one hundred children in seven choirs, led by EVC's full team of directors, and accompanied by the best musicians in town.

Songs that honor the environment from myriad musical traditions, including an EVC original.

Join us at 6pm tonight for our FREE Earth Day Jazz concert - a joyful spring concert celebrating Ella Fitzgerald's birthday, Jazz Appreciation Month, and Earth Day.

We'll be singing jazz favourites that Ella also loved, “Cow Cow Boogie,” “On the Sunny Side of the Street,” and “It’s Only a Paper Moon,” alongside songs of spring, including the world premiere of a song written by our Youth Choir called "Spring in New York."

What an evening to remember! We were honored to premiere A Call for the Battle to Cease by Robert Sirota with The Cecilia Chorus of New York and Orchestra led by Mark Shapiro with pianist extraordinaire Simone Dinnerstein. The voices of EVC's Concert Choir rang out from on high, "May love be our guide - Oh gift of life, Oh wonder!"
