At our October chapter meeting, members of the New York Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. wore pink for Breast Cancer Awareness and purple for Domestic Violence Awareness.

Together, we honor survivors, remember those we have lost, and stand with individuals and families affected by breast cancer and domestic violence. Our support extends beyond the colors we wear—we remain committed to raising awareness and uplifting our community.

The New York Alumnae Chapter Physical & Mental Health Committee extends our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us and supported the Walk to End Lupus Now through your attendance and generous donations.

We were proud to have our chapter members and our guests come together to raise awareness and show support for individuals and families affected by lupus. Every step, donation, and show of support helps bring greater awareness to this chronic illness and reminds those living with lupus that they are seen, heard, and not alone.

Civic engagement in action! 🗳️✨

On September 19, the New York Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated partnered with the League of Women Voters of New York City in recognition of Constitution Day. 🇺🇸✊🏾

At 116th Street and Lexington Avenue, chapter members and 6 volunteers registered 4 new voters, shared important election information, and distributed 415 copies of the U.S. Constitution — 300 in English, 100 in Spanish, and 15 in French. 📚

Beautiful weather made for meaningful conversations, community connections, and civic engagement. Let’s keep the momentum going by staying informed, making a plan to vote, and encouraging others to do the same. ❤️
