Last week’s New Family Welcome Gathering was a wonderful opportunity to connect with families joining our community for the year ahead.

We’re excited to welcome so many new faces to The Montessori Schools and look forward to the journey ahead together. 🤍

Meet Chelsea Petrozzo, our Director of Admissions and Enrollment.

With a background in early childhood education, independent school admissions, and family engagement, Chelsea brings both experience and heart to her role. Her journey began in the classroom, including Montessori environments, where she built a strong appreciation for child-led learning, independence, and beautifully prepared spaces.

A native New Yorker, Chelsea lives with her husband, their 2.5-year-old daughter Leni, and their dog Alfie. You’ll often find them exploring parks, neighborhoods, and getting out into nature together.

A Montessori Tale Spring Benefit 2026 brought our community together for an evening filled with connection, creativity, and celebration. From the children’s art to the energy in the room, it was a beautiful reflection of what makes this community so meaningful.

Aftercare went on a little “field trip” around the school, exploring all the beautiful artwork classrooms created for the gala.

Armed with tiny notebooks, the children carefully observed each piece and even jotted down notes about what they saw. Moments like this remind us that curiosity can turn even a simple walk through the building into an adventure. 😊

From thoughtful cards to tiny treats, our friends had the best time sharing Valentine’s Day surprises and placing them into each other’s bags. So much joy in the giving ❤️
