Chi Omega Alumnae Chapter of New York City

Kicking off our first Meet the Board Monday of the year is our incredible President, Liz de Jesus!

Liz is a graduate of the Iota Lamda Chapter at Villanova. She has lived in NYC her whole life besides her time spent in the Peace Corp in Peru. She currently works as a Project Manager in Corporate Social Responsibility.

Her favorite part of being in the NYC Alumnae chapter is meeting people from all different places and having something so special in common. She loves that we use that thread to create a strong connection and community.

We are so grateful to have Liz as our president for the 25-26 year!!

Our sisters gathered at The River Club of New York for our annual Chi O Connections. We had a blast connecting with sisters from around the New York area over some delicious hors d’oeuvres and drinks! The NYC Chi Omega Alumnae Chapter also conducted officer transitions and officially welcomed our Executive Board and Cardinal Cabinet for the 2025-2026 year.

We are so excited for all of our upcoming events this year, and for our sisters to continue to make meaningful connections!

Our May book club was such a fun and insightful night as we got to hear directly from the author herself, ! We read her book, “Like Mother, Like Daughter” and we could not put it down!

Yesterday, we hosted our annual membership appreciation event at the Citi Field watching the New York Mets take on the Chicago Cubs. To our wonderful sisters: We appreciate all of you and everything you do for the chapter - we would not be here without you! ❤️

We recently had the opportunity to volunteer at the Housing Works- Design on a Dime Event! It was incredible to learn about the work Housing Works does in providing services to New Yorkers impacted by HIV/AIDS and homelessness.

The NYC Chi Omega Alumnae Chapter happily celebrated 130 years of Chi Omega at the marvelous Tavern on the Green on April 5th. Thank you to those who attended and to our magnificent keynote speaker, Ann Bradshaw!

We are grateful every day for such a bright and steadfast sisterhood. Cheers to our past, present and future! 🥂

With two weeks left until Eleusinia 2025, we take a look back at last year’s gathering and remember what an amazing day it was to celebrate this beautiful sisterhood.
