Today, on what would have been Evelyn Lauder’s 90th birthday, we are thrilled to announce the incoming cohort of Fellows in the Evelyn Lauder Community Care Nurse Practitioner Program.
Evelyn Lauder was a proud graduate of Hunter College, with an unwavering dedication to women’s health and community care, and her commitment endures through the nurse leaders who carry her name — training in NYC Health + Hospitals facilities and preparing to deliver primary care where it's needed most.
Congratulations to our newest Lauder Fellows!

With the conclusion of the academic year, we’re reflecting on some of the many accomplishments of the Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing community, including this spring’s Eastern Nursing Research Society Conference.
Faculty and students participated in conversations shaping the future of nursing research, education, and patient care while connecting with nurse scholars and leaders from across the country. We’re especially proud of the students who presented their research and represented Hunter Nursing at the conference.
Congratulations to all who attended and contributed to this important gathering of nursing professionals and researchers.

The program specifically supports nurses from historically underrepresented backgrounds in science as they work to improve cardiovascular outcomes in underserved communities.
Lydia’s selection reflects her dedication to improving health outcomes in her community, strengthening her clinical and research skills, and advancing evidence-based care. We are proud to see Hunter Nursing students contributing to the advancement of cardiovascular care and implementation science.
