You need to put your ego aside and ask as many people as you can to help you get residency interviews! πββοΈπ₯
β
Obviously not everyone will help you and most of them may even ignore you completely - but this is a game of chance. If even one person responds well to your request and gets you an interview, I call that an absolute win πͺ
β
πSo start networking with current residents, your mentors, go to research conferences and meet new people, actively talk to everyone during your rotations, reach out to your medical school alumni who are currently in the USβ¦
β
If you let shame or embarrassment come into picture here, then youβve already lost. You have to be SHAMELESS. And if it comes to begging your contacts for interviews, THEN START BEGGING! Or waste a whole year of your life, thatβs your choice. π€·ββοΈ

And if you want to do your rotations at a place where students from ALL AROUND THE WORLD come to rotate, join us at Brooklyn USCEβ¦ contact us to reserve your spotsπ
