Greetings parents and providers! Fall is upon us and we're back, with music sessions happening all over Northern Manhattan and the Boogie-Down Bronx. If you know of any parents with infants or toddlers that are looking for a group parent-and-me music situation, we got you!
I've partnered with Heights Mediation and Yoga at their new location on W181 st and we begin sessions this Monday at 4pm!

We plan to hold these "Toddler and me" sessions weekly if we can generate enough interest. For now, I'll be there on Monday for sure! Reservations here:

To all my fellow early childhood professionals, especially those who own their own daycares, I was fortunate to be included in this story on Pix 11 news about Deborah Leiva and the help daycares like hers (and yours) receive from the NYC SBS and other programs!

Daycare centers are special spots on the block. Local parents and educators who meet licensing, health, and city requirements often open the businesses.

THE COMPLETE "Shake Your Maraca" song on video! Halloween at the Ring Garden in Inwood, Manhattan, 2024. This event was sponsored by The MET Cloisters, LINC NYC, local parents and businesses. But we were competing with a radio station's event next to us. They were keeping it down until our unamplified performances were done but it took all my skills to project my voice and not loose it. Come see Mr Coyote this Halloween along w story tellers from NYPL, LINK NYC & The MET sharing songs and stories in English and Spanish at the Inwood RING Garden on Dyckman St./Riverside Dr. and Broadway. It's a blues month for this ol' coyote. 3 blues shows this month. Today, I'm stoked to play my harmonica with Joshua2 aka Joshua Brittingham and his amazing band at the Southeast Museum in Brewster, NY. Joshua and the museum curators have developed a compelling multi-media presentation highlighting the contributions of African Americans to the history (and flavor) of the Hudson Valley.
