We are honored to offer an introductory series on Indian ragas with Michael Harrison. Musicians in any genre, working at any level from amateur to professional, are invited to join this welcoming community where we'll learn by doing. Together, we'll experience the basics of raga, from structural principles to the building blocks of basic rhythmic cycles, improvisation, and ways of combining raga with Western musical approaches.

We are thrilled to announce the Creative Music Intensive at Arts Letters & Numbers in upstate NY from July 21 to August 4. We have incredible faculty and visiting artists lined up and group performances at ALN and the Arts Center for Troy Night Out. There will be group raga singing classes every day. Amateur and professional musicians from any background are welcome to apply!
