Pa’lante means forward, and that’s exactly where we’re headed 🤍 This year’s theme, Sembrando Futuro, brought together pre-law students, law students, and practicing attorneys to connect, grow, and nurture the next generation of Latine legal professionals.

A huge shoutout to for putting together such an incredible event, and to all the NYLS LALSA students and alumni who showed up and showed out. This is what community looks like!!

Spend the lunch hour with NYLS LALSA alums who use their legal skills to create change in very different settings. Panelists will walk us through the key decisions and detours that shaped their careers, from landing the first post-grad job to handling boardrooms, courtrooms, and community coalitions. A Q&A will follow, so bring your questions about internships, networking, and finding purpose in your work.

Join LALSA for our 1L Oral Argument Prep Workshop! This event is designed to help 1L students prepare for their upcoming 1L oral arguments. We will focus on practical strategies for structuring an argument, responding to questions from the bench, and managing courtroom nerves. Two members of the Moot Court team will also join us to give a short demonstration and answer questions.
