A podcast about the mysterious quirks of language; a media venture about marine innovations that serves the Pacific Northwest maritime community; a website with journalism from incarcerated writers – these are just a few examples of niche projects from our Entrepreneurial Journalism Creators Program graduates.

Participants in the program learn the tools they need to build their niche journalism projects —sometimes from scratch— and go independent. "As for me, EJCP has been instrumental in instilling confidence in me to go solo," says Abhishek Waghmare, graduate of the Entrepreneurial Journalism Creators Program and founder of Number Wise, a weekly data journalism newsletter.
