Students were very excited during their Robotic program when exploring how electricity flows through a circuit by connecting a battery, wires, and a light bulb (or LED) on a circuit board, which makes the light turn on. 💡

GSS Prosecution team, winners of the Thurgood Marshall Jr. Competition this year, as part of their award, was invited to a Yankee Game, the students went down on the field and appeared on the video board! It was a very cool and fun experience!! Work hard, be kind, and amazing things will happen. Congratulations!!!

GSS competed for the first time at the Thurgood Marshall Jr. Mock Trial Competition this year and we are extremely proud of the Defense and Prosecution teams at the school as they both reached semi-finals. The Prosecution team went into the finals and won the Competition !! We are also very proud of Amerie B, as she won the award for Best Advocate!! Per her own words: "This has been a great opportunity to learn the court system, instill confidence in us and get us out of our comfort zone as well as expose us to a path we might not think on otherwise. This is a career I would like to explore and will be looking for internships that will allow me to do so". 🧑‍⚖️
