Our magnolias are in bloom! 🌸✨
Spring has officially sprung at the Frick. Don’t miss our iconic magnolias at peak bloom, crowning the Fifth Avenue Garden. During the Frick mansion’s conversion into a museum in the 1930s, this garden was updated by Frederick Law Olmsted Jr., son of the famous planner of Central Park. The three magnolia trees—two saucer magnolias (Magnolia × soulangeana) and one star magnolia (Magnolia stellata)—were added in 1939.
