Today I hit 10,000 subscribers on my YouTube channel, Rainbow Parrot Art. It's crazy to see things starting to take off after 5 years of working hard. During most of this time, I felt like I was rowing inside a boat that was still tied to the dock: working hard, yet going no where. For YEARS, I would spent 20+ hours making a video that ended up getting 30-50 views. Why did I persevere through all of this? Because my students loved my videos! So, I want to say thank you to all the kiddos who have been cheering me on and joyfully making art from day one. If you find something you love that brings joy to the world, keep doing it and don't give up!

I just finished designing this waterpark. I’m going to do this project with my students next year. They’ve been asking for this project for years. What kid doesn’t want to design a waterpark?!
