Our 11th grade students recently showcased their Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Exhibition, a key milestone in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Through thoughtful presentations, students explored how knowledge is constructed, challenged assumptions, and connected philosophical concepts to real-world issues. 🌍💭

📚 Each student presented a curated display of three objects accompanied by written commentaries, demonstrating how TOK concepts appear in everyday life and broader global contexts. Their work engaged with thought-provoking questions such as:

❓ What counts as knowledge?
❓ On what grounds might we doubt a claim?
❓ How can we distinguish between knowledge, belief, and opinion?

👏 Congratulations to our students and teachers on an inspiring exhibition of curiosity, reflection, and inquiry.

On Friday, May 29th more than 200 members of our community gathered for the 8th Annual International Day to celebrate the stories, traditions, and culture that make Kennedy such a dynamic place for our students to learn and grow.

It was a joyful celebration of the connections that unite us and a reflection of what makes Kennedy feel like home for families from across the globe.

One Community. A World of Cultures.

🏗️✨ Kennedy’s 8th and 9th grade students proudly presented En Construction, their first 3D Design Exhibition, showcasing six months of creative exploration at the intersection of technology, architecture, and visual art.

Throughout the project, students challenged themselves to think like designers, architects, and innovators as they developed concepts, tested ideas, created 3D models, and explored emerging technologies, including AI. Along the way, they discovered that creativity is not only about inspiration, but also about problem-solving, persistence, and adaptability.

During the exhibition, students shared their work with parents, faculty, and peers, reflecting on the discoveries, challenges, and achievements that shaped their projects and design process.

👏 Congratulations to our talented students, and thank you to Technology Teacher Mr. Duboelle and Art Teacher Mr. Chudeau for leading this inspiring interdisciplinary initiative.

On Monday, our Kennedy community celebrated Crêpe Day!

Thank you to our Committee on Cultural Events & Celebrations for organizing this French cultural experience for all students. 🇫🇷

We are also very grateful to our Kennedy parents who generously made crêpes at home and brought them in along with delicious fillings such as maple syrup, jams, honey, caramel, and whipped cream.

What a sweet way to start the week by sharing delicious crêpes and a little taste of French culture together as a community!🥞
