Now THAT is a summer internship. 👀 Lubin student Ethan Becerra ’27 spent the summer working in marketing and communications with the National Urban League through Pace University’s Community Impact Funded Internship Program. From supporting the organization’s annual conference in Nashville to traveling to Washington, D.C., to meet with members of Congress, Ethan put his Advertising and Integrated Marketing Communications studies to work while learning how strategic communications can help create meaningful change.

And yes, that’s former Vice President Kamala Harris with Ethan and the National Urban League team!

We love seeing Lubin students take what they’re learning beyond the classroom and into experiences like this.

Angela Kamps ’26 is taking her finance degree global. 🌎💼

The recent Lubin graduate is joining Crédit Agricole CIB as a risk analyst, where she’ll help evaluate the creditworthiness of corporate counterparties and support lending decisions in sectors like TMT and transportation.

At Lubin, Angela built her confidence through financial analysis and valuation coursework, Excel and financial modeling, student organizations, employer events, and meaningful connections with faculty and alumni.

Her best advice for future students? Take initiative early, stay curious, and make the most of every opportunity.
