Greetings,

Chicken soup may be good for the soul — but soup loaded with sulfur-rich ingredients is one of the keys to longevity!

Broccoli, kale, garlic, onions, leeks, and cabbage — these everyday vegetables are rich in natural sulfur compounds that support your body’s health and well-being. One standout is sulforaphane, found in broccoli (especially sprouts). It supports detoxification, calms inflammation, and helps protect your cells for healthy aging. Garlic, onions, and leeks contain their own sulfur compounds, which boost immunity and support heart health.

Johns Hopkins researchers pioneered the discovery and extensive study of sulforaphane, a cancer-preventing compound found in broccoli sprouts that activates the body's natural defenses.

🍲 Sulfur-Rich Detox Soup
Ingredients
1 medium celery k**b or 3–4 stalks of celery (cool, strengthens spleen & bladder)
1 medium parsley root – if available (cool, purifies)
Garlic as desired (warm, purifies)
2 small leeks
2 medium red onions (warm, purifies)
1 ½ lbs tomatoes or more (cool, strengthens stomach & spleen)
1 lb potatoes (sweet & neutral)
A little fresh parsley (cool, purifies)

Directions:
Add parsley or fresh grated ginger at the end, season to taste, and enjoy!
This sulfur-rich soup is not only hearty and flavorful — it’s also a simple way to nourish your body with protective plant compounds that support detoxification, balance, and vitality. 🌱

A little plant-based medicine for your health.

Look Good!

We’re Taught to Clean Our Rooms, But Not Our Bodies

From the time we’re kids, we’re told to clean our rooms—make the bed, pick up the toys, take out the trash. But what about cleaning the inside of our bodies? No one teaches us how to detox from the processed foods, environmental toxins, and stress accumulated over the years.

We wash our hands, brush our teeth, and take showers, but how often do we cleanse our liver, flush out our lymphatic system, or reset our digestion? Our bodies work 24/7 to keep us functioning, but without proper care, they get sluggish, just like a room filled with dust and clutter.

It’s time we start seeing inner cleansing as essential, not optional. Whether through herbal detoxing, fasting, or simply eating whole, nourishing foods, we need to take responsibility for our internal environment as much as our external one. A clean body leads to a clear mind, better energy, and a healthier life.

Hello Everyone, Spring is just around the corner. In TCM, the Liver is responsible for the smooth flow of Qi (vital energy) and Blood throughout the body. It also governs emotions, especially anger, and is connected to detoxification. When in balance, it promotes creativity, vision, and decisiveness—qualities associated with Spring's energy. However, if the Liver is stagnant, one may experience irritability, mood swings, headaches, allergies, or digestive issues.

SPRING WISDOM! Eat light, fresh, and slightly cooling foods to support Liver function. • Include leafy greens, sprouts, dandelion, artichokes, beets, and citrus fruits (sour foods help regulate the Liver). Reduce heavy, greasy, and overly spicy foods to avoid burdening digestion. Drink green tea, chrysanthemum tea, or dandelion root tea for gentle detoxification.
