Jasmine sat down with us to learn more about the W!se Institute Finance Seminars and mock interview workshops. She also presented a $5,000 check to support the Institute this coming school year. Spring at W!se was a whirlwind!

From program enhancements and exciting competitions to inspiring award ceremonies and opportunities to bring together volunteers, partners, and supporters, it was one of our busiest and most impactful seasons yet.

Our work was also featured in interviews and news stories, and we launched W!se Words, our new podcast, now live on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Looking ahead, save the date for the 2026 W!se Luminary Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, October 28 at the Yale Club of New York City. Registration is also open for the 2026 Student Stock Showdown, which has expanded beyond New York to include students from New Jersey and Connecticut!

📈 The Student Stock Showdown is back!

Registration is now open for W!se and Moomoo US stock trading simulation, where students can build investing skills, compete for major cash prizes, and experience the stock market completely risk-free.

🎉 New this year: We've expanded beyond New York! High school students in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut are now eligible to compete.

🏆 Students, educators, and schools can all win prizes, including a $10,000 school grant.

Introducing our new Adulting 101 series, where we’re sharing practical tips and real-world advice to help students build the skills they need beyond the classroom.

We’re kicking things off with Chris Toomer, who teaches W!se Institute personal finance seminars to middle and high school students across Brooklyn and the Bronx. Through his work, Chris helps students build confidence in managing money and making informed financial decisions from an early age.

At the W!se Institute, we enrich classroom learning with the real-world knowledge students need to thrive.
