Mentoring is a tool for empowerment, leadership, and education. Mentors are role models who encourage their students to exceed their potential.

Why should students talk to a Peer Mentor? Peer Mentors are LaGuardia students who know the campus, the professors, and the classes. They can relate to their peers’ experience and can help guide them toward achieving their goals. Peers are always in the know about services and resources, and can assist their mentees in times of need. Mentors can motivate their students to achieve personal success

Welcome to LaGuardia New Students

Today we welcomed new students to LaGuardia Community College. They were informed about their major and curriculum, financial aid, scholarships, ASAP, transfer services, COPE, career services and among other important information to get them ready for their first semester at LaGuardia.
