I wanted to take you on a little tour of my vocal studio setup! This entire setup lets me teach students around the world (yay for technology!)

This is what’s in my studio:

Microphone: SHURE sm7b (note you need a cloud lifter with this mic, not mentioned in the video)

‘Tis the season, so I wanted to share 4 things I do to help get the voice back on track when I’m sick:

1. Drink LOTS of water. 12 glasses a day will help fully hydrate the body, thins and loosens mucus and supports immune function.

2. Rest, rest, rest. Get as much sleep as you can. This allows the body to redirect energy towards the immune system.

3. Try sleeping with a warm mist vaporizer. This can help reduce throat, noise and chest congestion.

4. Use a nebulizer. This can help reduce inflammation and moisturizes your airways. I use the

One of the things I love doing as a teacher is helping students with their college auditions. College prep for musical theatre programs can be a daunting experience but I love guiding students through the process.

I help with finding the right repertoire, making the perfect audition cut, vocal technique, acting through song, and guide you through the prescreens, in person auditions and the ups and downs of it all!

My studio is full for the remainder of the summer but am anticipating a couple spots starting in September. I’d love to help you achieve your college dreams!

I have heard so many breakthrough moments in my studio this week. It has been so exciting for me to hear. I am overjoyed with the progress my students are making.

I’ve spent the past 3 months working with and I am so excited to now be certified in her Evidence Based Voicework Pedagogy Programs: Voice Function 101 and Mechanics of Mix and Belt.
I was looking for a program to up level my teaching and also make sure I was up to date with the most recent vocal science and this program DELIVERED! I am so excited to implement what I’ve learned with my students. The learning never stops!!
