The Collegiate hallways were buzzing last Tuesday as we opened our Red Doors for our annual Arts Festival, celebrating everything from gallery art and plays to a special textile installation by guest artist . Our community enjoyed an evening filled with student productions, creative workshops, musical performances, and more.

Last week, alumni gathered at School for Reunion 2026. To kick off the evening, attendees were invited to attend classes taught by beloved faculty. The reunion program opened with a welcome from Board of Trustees President Jonathan Youngwood ’85 and honored John Kosner ’78 as distinguished Alumni Volunteer and Larry Byrnes, posthumously, for the former faculty award. His son Larry Byrnes Jr. ’88 accepted on Coach’s behalf. Tributes were delivered by Peter Blauner ’78 and David Duchovny ’78 (via video), the UnDutchables performed, and Head of School Bodie Brizendine spoke. Afterwards, there was a lively reception where alumni had a great time reconnecting with one another.

Last week’s Spring Convocation was a truly memorable event, highlighted by a moving piano performance, inspiring words from our Senior Speaker, and reflections from our featured Alumni Speaker Vivek Tiwari ‘91 who was introduced by his son.

Our Middle School students had the opportunity to swap the classroom for city streets, nature trails, and historic landmarks during their spring trips. From observing the Urban River at Beczak and grain milling on Staten Island to walking tours in Philly and campfires at Frost Valley—it was a time of real-world connections, friendship, learning, and unforgettable memories for our students in grades 5–8.

🎪 Last weekend’s PA Collegiate Festival brought so much joy to our community. Attendees enjoyed games, chess, LEGOs, basketball, soccer, prizes, musical performances, food, and much more. A huge thank you to our PA and volunteers for making this an incredibly successful event!

And…that’s a wrap on the Boy Who Fell Into a Book! Our grades five and six performers brought incredible talent to the stage. From the very first rehearsal to the final curtain call, we are so proud of the dedication, heart, and energy this cast displayed.
