Mark your calendar — an official SEVP webinar on the new F-1 final rule is happening Monday, August 31, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. EDT. This live Adobe Connect session will walk through the fixed period of admission and the extension-of-stay procedure — directly from SEVP. No advance registration required, but space is limited to 1,000 participants, so join early.
As an international student (or someone helping one), this is a rare chance to hear the government’s explanation before the rule begins on September 15. Today was one of those days that reminds us exactly why we do what we do. Our classmates gathered around a table full of delicious pastries to celebrate Harbi — who came all the way from Albania to study with us — while Carmen, our brilliant Academic Writing teacher, joined in the fun.
There was cake, and there was that warm, easy laughter that only happens when people genuinely enjoy being together. 💛
