Piano Ma'am is heading to in Thedford today from 3-6pm. This cozy spot is nestled between Port Franks and the and they serve great food and drink.
I will be SERVING a buffet of amazing music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s - you get the idea. Where else can you hear The Cure, Elton John, Tori Amos and Bruce Springsteen sung in a Canadian accent? Come for a bite and request a tune or two.
Woodshedding a little this morning. These chords get more and more beautiful as I play them.
Thanks for all your support when I launched my Piano Ma'am alter ego yesterday. Just for fun I thought you might get a kick out of a sizzle reel I put together of some of my pop work.
I never would have known how much this piano bar work would have solidified my musical career. I left for my first cruise ship contract in October 2000 and playing 6 night a week for 4-6 hours a day taught me how to work a crowd, how to pace my chops and how to commit these songs into my body and soul.
I feel so incredibly privileged to be able to live my life as a jazz bandleader and sidemusician while also getting to indulge in my piano bar guilty pleasures.
I'm playing at bars, nursing homes, retirement residences, private parties, restaurants and concert venues. For more info and booking: www.brendaearle.com/pianomaam
