The Phi Kappa Sigma International Fraternity was founded in 1850 at the University of Pennsylvania by Dr. Samuel Brown Wylie Mitchell. Dr. Mitchell sought to help young men become "Men of Honor" – better men in and of themselves, in their relationships with others, and in their contributions to the world. In 2008, a group of students founded the Delta Phi colony of Phi Sigma Kappa at New York Univ
