Overthinking isn’t healing — it’s self-analysis on loop.
The more you name your pain, the more it starts to define you. Insight feels productive, but without action, it just keeps you circling the same story. You don’t need another breakthrough — you need a new behavior. Change happens when you move differently, not when you explain better.

The most damaging way to punish one’s parents is by unconsciously destroying one’s own life, turning self-sabotage into a weapon of silent revenge. Psychologically, this can emerge from unresolved resentment or a deep need to communicate pain when direct confrontation feels impossible or forbidden. The tragedy lies in the fact that the intended message is rarely received by the parents, while the individual bears the full cost of the destruction.

First, the child aches—
unable to name their wants.
Then, the sorrow—
unable to speak their feelings.
And then the deepest silence:

but no one hears.
Healing begins not by changing others,
but by learning the language of your own soul.
Only then can you hear another’s.
Only then is true connection born

My Rebbi Doniel Katz we’ll be having an event in Tel Aviv! I just have to share it. After attending his retreat and joining The Elevation Project my life changed forever. Especially at this moment, when many of us are feeling vulnerable and under so much internal and external pressure, Rav Katz offers a framework allowing for light and healing. I am not in Tel Aviv and won’t be able to attend. I hope some of you can and will find his teachings to be as liberating as I have.
