The Mount Carmel Early Childhood Center

Summer Camp at Mount Carmel ECC is off to a great start with lots of water play, new friends and a concert from Mr. Nick! We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store!

The Red Room children have been exploring their 5 senses! They made collages using materials of different textures to talk about touch, added scents to playdoh for smell (they chose lemon, lavender and peppermint), tasted homemade soft pretzels and smelled various fruity scents! What do you think they should try next?

It may be rainy and cold outside but we are still feeling warm and sunny after our Holiday Jamboree yesterday! It was a great morning eating breakfast, doing arts and crafts and singing and dancing with Mr. Nick ! Plus, swipe for our super special surprise guest 🎅🏼.

Nothing like a fresh classroom! We were so excited to welcome parents back to in person orientation last night and even more thrilled to welcome children in for classroom visits this morning. Another year at Mount Carmel ECC has officially begun!

In honor of we are going to highlight some of our wonderful teachers here at Mount Carmel. First up is Nina!

Nina teaches in the Red Room. She loves singing karaoke, long walks and a good cup of coffee! We love Nina’s joyful spirit and upbeat, can do attitude. Thank you, Nina!

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week and the Mount Carmel ECC wouldn’t be the school it is without our fabulous team of teachers! We thank them every day but especially this week for all their hard work, creativity and care that they put into each child’s school experience every day. 💙
