This year's Homecoming is packed with family-friendly experiences designed to create lasting memories for children and their caregivers. From an interactive basketball clinic and Storyland's Read & Rave to a magic show, 360° Photo Booth, balloon animals, face painting, cotton candy, and plenty of opportunities for fun and creativity, there's something for every young guest to enjoy throughout the day.

This year, we're excited to feature Rhythm, Wellness, and Movement: Dance for the Body and Soul, a series of beginner-friendly experiences designed to inspire connection, wellness, and joy through movement.

✨ Salsa for the Soul: A Wellness Dance Experience Discover how music, culture, and movement come together while learning easy-to-follow Salsa steps that build confidence and energize the body.

✨ Bachata Flow: Rhythm, Movement & Mindful Joy Enjoy the smooth rhythms of Bachata in a welcoming environment that encourages relaxation, connection, and fun.

Celebrate Homecoming with an exciting afternoon of basketball, community, and Caiman Pride!

Join us for a special Basketball Clinic led by Chyna Bryant, one of Hostos Athletics' standout student-athletes. This engaging experience is designed to help participants strengthen their basketball fundamentals while building confidence, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

This event also highlights the spirit of Homecoming by bringing together students, alumni, faculty, staff, families, and friends in celebration of the Hostos community and the accomplishments of our student leaders.

AI & You: Thriving in a World Powered by Artificial Intelligence
Benny Lorenzo, Managing Partner at Aspira Capital Management, will explore how AI is transforming industries, how professionals can remain competitive, and how AI tools can simplify daily life and enhance career success.

From Idea to Impact: Launching & Growing a Successful Business
Ifeanyi Obinali '15, President and CEO of LEAD Security Group Inc., and Tameka Ridley '19, Program Manager at NYC Public Schools, will share strategies for refining business ideas, building growth plans, developing winning pitches, and standing out in a competitive marketplace.

Lead Where You Are: Community Advocacy & Local Leadership
Anthony J Manzanet, MBA, MSML. '91, CEO and Founder of Hormiga Enterprises and The Hormiga Foundation, will discuss how individuals can create meaningful change through advocacy, volunteerism, public service, and grassroots leadership.

Sensing Health: Nursing Science, Taste and Smell in Patient Care
Paule Valery Joseph PhD, MBA,CRNP, FAAN '05, Tenured Senior Investigator and Co-Director of the National Taste and Smell Center at NIH, will highlight the role of sensory science in patient care and explore how taste and smell impact nutrition, diagnosis, quality of life, and evidence-based nursing practice.

Dear Hostos Community College Family,

The recent catastrophe in Venezuela has left families grieving and struggling to survive after immense loss. Lives have been lost, and many more are facing displacement and uncertainty. Monetary donations are urgently needed to provide immediate relief and support recovery efforts.

As both a Venezuelan and a proud Hostos alumnus, this message is deeply personal to me. Thank you for your compassion and solidarity during this critical time.
