Congratulations to our students Matthew Utsey (4th grade) and Hannah Espinal (5th grade) for having their artwork displayed at the 10th annual Manhattan Borough Arts Festival’s Visual Arts Exhibit at the MoMA Museum!  We are very proud of them!! Shout out to Ms. Lyn for her dedication to the arts and our community!

The Middle School Application Process

Tomorrow, we are asking all of our parents to get their PS 30 Scholar ready for Book-O-Ween/Story Book Character Day. On this day, students can come to class dressed as their favorite storybook character. There will also be book reading, storytelling, and classroom celebrations with treats— sort of like a Halloween Party!⁠

This week, we are asking parents and teachers to bring in cute pink items that we will bundle and raffle off throughout the month of October. Some of the items you can donate include new tote bags, earrings, pens, pencils, facemasks, hand sanitizers, soaps, bath bombs, magnets, tees, notepads, candles, cups, ribbons, gift cards, gloves, socks, and more. When you bring in your items, be sure to ask for and leave them with our computer teacher, Dorothy Matthew. ⁠
