Founded in 1971, ACT provides a safe haven where toddlers to teens from many faiths, cultures and economic backgrounds gather to learn, play and grow.

The ACT PreK finished the first half of the school year by embracing holiday traditions, celebrating with our families and making 50 more cards for patients at Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital! We look forward to a New Year filled with good health, joy and learning!

Today is the day--Giving Tuesday.
Our goal is offer financial aid to as many families applying to summer camp 2025 as possible. Last summer we were not able to support 20+ families. At ACT Program we have a set a goal of $200,000 to raise by June 2025. No amount to small and it's never to late to make a donation. Thanks to supporters like you, we believe it's possible. www.actprograms.org

Our Story
Adults and Children in Trust (A.C.T.), located on the 11-acre oasis of the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine campus on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, is an education center that provides year-round educational and recreational programs for infants, children and teens from 6 months to 17 years old. At A.C.T., we work with children from the very beginning. Once children are in school, we provide families with after-school care, holiday camps, summer camps and even party services for those special milestones in a child’s life.
