📚 What is demonstrated interest in college admissions?
It’s a college’s way of measuring how engaged you are with their school—and for some colleges, it can play an important role in admissions decisions.
Demonstrated interest can include:
âś… Attending information sessions or campus tours
âś… Opening emails from admissions
âś… Participating in virtual events
âś… Connecting with admissions representatives
âś… Applying Early Decision (where appropriate)
But here’s the important part: not every college tracks demonstrated interest. Some consider it, some don’t, and a few track it extensively.
