GCU Summer Summit date/times/more info coming soon!

01/05/2025

Please meet the newest member of Team ! !
Diana has been a major part of GCU from the beginning (we are coming up on our 1-year Anniversary). She has not only participated in open mics & workshops…she also co-hosted our first Summer Summit last July.
We have lots of ideas brewing for GCU in 2025 - but more on that later…right now, get to know Diana by reading the below info. Welcome DIANA!!!

Diana, a dedicated lawyer and finance professional, discovered the magic of the ukulele after attending a live concert where a band featured the instrument. Despite never having played an instrument or showing any musical inclination before, she was captivated by its charm and decided to give it a try. Armed with determination and YouTube tutorials, Diana taught herself how to play. Now, the ukulele is a daily part of her life, bringing her immense joy and a sense of fulfillment. She often shares that picking up the ukulele has been one of the happiest decisions she’s ever made, proving that it’s never too late to find a new passion. Diana lives in New York City and spends time in Honolulu during the winter months. 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

"Everything" by Michael Bublé
Such a "feel good" song! Thanks to Jon Dykstra for lending his brilliant piano skills - I'm a lucky boy! xoxo

This is a cover I did of Michael Bublés' beautiful song, "Everything." My friend Jon joined me. I recently redid the vocal part and shot a new video. I hope ...

Almost 1/2 way to my goal of $500 raised for the Polished Man campaign! The good folks are working tirelessly to end violence against women & children. Please contribute using the link below to help make a difference. No matter how small, your donation moves us toward our goal. And we are, without a doubt - better when we’re together! xoxo

A short premiere of a spooky little medley I just put together. Come watch LIVE with me on YouTube tonight at 7PM ET! 🎃🫣

A little pre-Halloween fun! I covered both "Bury a Friend" and "All the Good Girls Go to Hell" by Billie Eilish and decided to share parts of both in one vid...

Polished Man 2024 is here! I will be painting one or more nails for October to raise awareness (and funds) to help women & children who have experienced domestic violence (most often at the hands of men).

Please click the first link below to donate today. This is my 4th year participating, and I want to raise at least $500 for this great cause!
Thank you for considering 🥹💙 https://polishedman.com/paul-hennessee

"Bloom" by The Paper Kites is up on YouTube! Happy 1-month birthday, Harmony Rose. We love you! ❤
Huge thanks to my good friend Colin McGrath (Colin) for laying down the beautiful guitar foundation of the song, Chloe Hennessee for providing her ethereal voice on the harmonies, and my niece, Ande Godwin for her gorgeous choreography and performance.
I am blessed! xoxo

When I became a grandfather on August 1st, 2024 my world changed. I fell in love all over again with my adorable granddaughter Harmony Rose. Shortly after sh...

Happy Monday! Here I am with my Ohana Ukuleles custom DTK-2 all-solid deluxe koa tenor ukulele. It’s been a dream getting acquainted over the past couple of weeks! I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing and hearing him as well - yep…I said him. Just feels “male” to me. I enjoy spending time in my garden playing (and eating!). Big week ahead as I prepare for the Gotham City Ukes summertime summit in the Catskill Mountains.
Hope you’ll tune in on Instagram this Saturday, July 27th at 6pm EDT for an open mic from the summit! Have a wonderful week! xoxo
