Our Earth and Space Science students took the classroom to the coast this week! 🌊 Students visited Orchard Beach in Pelham Bay Park to explore the Bronx’s unique coastal environment. From uncovering Earth’s history in the exposed shoreline bedrock to studying local ecosystems with the Urban Park Rangers, it was a day of hands-on discovery. Students even picked up vital outdoor safety skills, learning how to identify native plants and navigate our local environment responsibly. We are so proud of our students for showing such great environmental stewardship! 🌲🐚
