SHSAT Test Prep Summer Registration!

The Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT) is an entrance examination taken by eighth and ninth grade students.

This test is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Students are evaluated based on their understanding in two areas: verbal/reading comprehension and mathematics.

About 20,000 students take this exam every year; only ¼ of these students is accepted to a school of their choice.

The purpose of this exam is to gain acceptance to any one of the desired schools list below:

· Bronx High School of Science
· Brooklyn Latin School
· Brooklyn Technical High School
· High School of American Studies at Lehman College
· High School for Math, Science and Engineering at City College
· Queens High School for the Sciences at York College
· Staten Island Technical High School
· Stuyvesant High School
