Fun broadway matinee at "Sunset Boulevard!" Fantastic show!! Loved it!!

Woo HOO! I caught two alums on Law & Order's recent Ep. 13 "In God We Trust.' First 'red herring' perp, MARC BASIL wielding a knife at his kitchen job, then telling the truth in the obliquitous interrogation scene--great work Marc! And THEN, the amazing LAURA HEISLER as the mother of the victim who has a dramatic change of heart! SAG Awards last night asked all the nominated actors who'd guest-starred on L & O to 'take a drink.' Great moment of flashback reels as most ALL of the assembled could share that honor! Here's lookin' at you kids! You're in great company!1

That's former student TROY WINBUSH, who's got a great recurring role as "Kevin" (check him out in the NBC promos) in "SUITS LA" debuting this Sunday, February 23rd!! This first photo was a Troy visit from LA to NYC about ten years ago. I worked with Troy when he was a teen, and I was so proud when he booked TV ("The Cosby Show" as Theo's friend "Denny") and films like "The Principal" with Lou Gossett Jr, and Jim Belushi or "Bonfire of the Vanities" with Tom Hanks. Troy is so deserving of this break!! Go Troy!!

So proud of former acting student Matthew Barry, who won a BAFTA Cymru award last night!!! Matthew was awarded "Best Writer" for his "Men Up" film script, a drama about the early vi**ra trials in Wales. (Let's hope Netflix offers it here soon!!) Congratulations Matthew!!
