The Graduate Acting Program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts has, since its inception in 1966, grown to become one of the most rigorous and celebrated MFA acting programs in the country. Huge congratulations to Coach Meg Barber and the NYU Women’s Basketball team on setting a D-III record with their 82nd consecutive win this weekend! Our program was fortunate to experience Coach Barber’s leadership and generosity firsthand during the Grad Acting Class of 2025’s production of Flex, where she dedicated her time and expertise to training our actors. We love to see athletics and the arts collide 🏀💜

We are beaming with Grad Acting pride for Sterling K. Brown (’01) and Billy Crudup (’94) on their 83rd Annual Golden Globe nominations!

Sterling is nominated for Best Actor in a Drama Series for his role in Hulu’s Paradise, and Billy is nominated for Best Supporting Actor on Television for Apple TV+’s The Morning Show. Congratulations, Billy and Sterling!

NYU is days away from closing for Winter Break, so our program wanted to wish everyone a Happy Holiday season and encourage all of our prospective students to apply! The application deadline to join Grad Acting this upcoming Fall is on January 5th at 12:00 PM EST.
