Join us tonight (Wed 18) at 343 Labs NYC, for a free masterclass led by aka Justin Beck. RSVP in stories! We’ll start at 6:30pm!

This masterclass will focus on providing practical and applicable insights and techniques for mixing music, with an emphasis on club music and electronic styles. We will cover why and when to use tools like equalization, compression, reverb, saturation, and modulation, as well as broader conceptual ideas about what you are actually trying to achieve when mixing. This event is geared towards intermediate producers and anyone looking to up their game with mixing music in any genre.

About the Instructor:

Justin Beck is a producer, composer, and engineer with 15+ years experience. His primary artist project, Sylvan Paul, has been released on record labels such as Wolf + Lamb and Ultra Records (Sony). As an engineer, he has mixed and mastered for artists such as Mindchatter, Lauren Flax, Smoko Ono, Life On Planets, and Sam Silver, and his work has accrued over 50 Million streams.
