Last Tuesday, our Early Childhood wing at IMLCS wrapped up Women’s History Month with a truly special Very Important Woman Breakfast 💕
Our scholars welcomed the remarkable women who shape their lives, including mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, and other cherished role models, for a joyful morning of connection and celebration. Over breakfast, leaders shared smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments with their VIPs ☕🥐
Students proudly presented sweet messages, many of which were read aloud straight from the heart 💌 The morning was also filled with delightful performances that added an extra touch of magic 🎶
We also want to give a big shout out to all the incredible women who make up our IMLCS school community. Our staff, families, and leaders continue to inspire us every day through their dedication, strength, and love.

What an unforgettable and historic day for the Imagine Me Nation! This week, we gathered on for our Inaugural Crown Forum and Legacy Jacketing Ceremony, marking a sacred rite of passage for our Class of 2026.
We were profoundly honored to welcome our special guest speaker, Dr. Cornel West, whose presence electrified the room. His powerful words on the transformative power of love and what it truly means to be great resonated deeply with our scholars, staff, and families alike. Dr. West challenged our leaders to understand that greatness isn't found in titles, but in how much they are willing to serve and love their community.
The highlight of the morning was the formal Jacketing of our 8th graders. As they donned their Senior Legacy Jackets, they didn't just put on apparel—they accepted the mantle of the Standard Bearers for our school's mission. These jackets symbolize their resilience, their academic power, and the permanent mark they have left on our halls.
To our 8th Grade Leaders: You have been crowned. You have been jacketed. Now, continue to rise and lead with the love and conviction the world deserves! 🦁💙

Watching our leaders embody world-changing figures with such poise, dignity, and grace was a powerful testament to our commitment to cultural excellence. From icons of the past to trailblazers of the present, our scholars didn't just study history—they stepped into it, honoring the legacy of those who paved the way.

This past weekend, 48 of our middle school scholars visited the HBCU Fair at Bishop Loughlin High School! Watching our scholars engage with recruiters and learn about the HBCU legacy reinforces our mission: ensuring our leaders know every door is open to them.
